My journey in the arts started in high school when I enrolled in Barbara Ingram School for the Arts. It is a rigorous school that offers art courses ranging from painting, photography to ceramics as well as college level courses. I harnessed my talents in the arts and continued to flourish within the setting. After graduating high school  I enrolled at Carroll Community College, through here I discovered my love for printmaking. I was mentored by the head of the arts department Jessie Hardesty, in this internship with Hardesty I helped curate three gallery shows of well known artist in the Baltimore area, as well as carving three large wood cuts for my own project. 

The time came to move onto the next chapter in my education. I applied to various schools, two being Rhode Island School for Design and Columbus College of Art and Design and having been accepted into both I chose CCAD due to their Interior Architecture Design program. I excelled in the program and gained knowledge of the programs used in the design industry.  Taking all of my knowledge from my previous years for my senior thesis I developed a building that focuses on healing childhood trauma through the lense of experiential design. This concept is intended to be adaptable in any city primarily located near colleges and medical facilities for easy access to young adults. Having graduated I'm excited to see where I go next in this world and hope to combine both my fine art and design capabilities in whatever I do.
